Booking confirmation

In about 24-4hrs, the organizer will get in touch with you to confirm your registration. Attend on the specified day and receive certification upon clearing tests.

Basic life support

The American heart association’s Basic life support (BLS) Course has been updated to reflect new science in the 2020 American Heart Association Guidelines Update for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care. This video-based, Instructor-led course teaches both single-rescuer and team basic life support skills for application in both in-facility and prehospital settings.

Course content

  • When to start and how to do high-quality CPR on all ages (infant to adult)
  • When/Why/How to use an AED (Automated external defibrillator)
  • How to give breaths with different airway devices
  • How to work as a team to save a life.
  • How to save a choking victim

Course features

  • Eligibility : Both medical and non-medical people can do BLS course.
  • Material provided : BLS Provider Manual with a BLS Reference Card (Electronic version)
  • Course format : Read the eBooks before course. On course day, you’ll have hands-on clinical scenarios for skills practice and skills testing.
  • Certificate : Score 84% in theory (21/25) and demonstrate efficiency in the skills you learnt on course day to receive your American Heart Association BLS course completion eCard, valid for 2 years. (Within 48hrs)

Advanced cardiac life support

Upon finishing BLS, you can opt for Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS). builds on the foundation of Basic Life Support (BLS), emphasizing the importance of continuous, high-quality CPR. The hands-on instruction and simulated cases in this advanced course are designed to help enhance their skills in the recognition and intervention of cardiopulmonary arrest immediate post-cardiac arrest, acute arrhythmia, stroke, and acute coronary syndromes.

Course content

  • Review BLS + AED usage.
  • Recognition, management of ACS and stroke.
  • Recognition and management of brady and tachyarrhythmias.
  • Recognition and management of cardiac arrest, respiratory arrest, immediate post–cardiac arrest care.
  • Impact of team dynamics and Feedback to team
  • Role of a rapid response team or medical emergency team. 

Course features

  • Eligibility: Healthcare professionals who are involved in the management of cardiopulmonary arrest or other cardiovascular emergencies.
  • Material provided: ACLS Provider Manual with an ACLS Reference Card (electronic versions)
  • Course format: Read the eBooks before course. On course day, you’ll have hands-on clinical scenarios for skills practice and skills testing.
  • Course completion: Score 84% in theory (42/50) and demonstrate efficiency in the skills you learnt on course day to receive your American Heart Association ACLS course completion eCard, valid for 2 years. (Within 48hrs). Testing occurs on day 2 of ACLS course.

Collect eBooks after full payment and prepare well. Finish pre-course self-assessment and pre-course work as guided below. You must complete these before going for the course.

How to register

2. Upon booking for BLS ACLS training at Miraj, you will get a call from the organizer within 24 Hrs (working days only).
3. The amount you are paying (~10%) is for reserving a place only. Rest of the amount shall be collected by the organizer.
4. In 3 day schedule, 1st day is for BLS and next 2 days for ACLS. If the schedule is only 1 day, that means only BLS is happening.

Refunds / Cancellation


1. Refunds will be provided in case we cannot get you a place or the course is cancelled / postponed and the new dates are not suitable to you. No refunds if you fail to attend.
2. Course organizers are responsible for cancellations, not MedCourse.
3. If the registrations are fewer than 4, the workshop may be postponed/canceled. (Rare but possible)

  • Techniques for relief of foreign-body airway obstruction (choking) for adults, children and infants

BLS features

  • Audience : For healthcare professionals who need the ability to recognize several life-threatening emergencies, provide CPR, use an AED and relieve choking in a safe, timely and effective manner.
  • Material provided : BLS Provider Manual with a BLS Reference Card
  • Course format : In the Instructor-led format, students participate in simulated clinical scenarios and learning stations. Students work with an AHA BLS Instructor to complete BLS skills practice and skills testing. Students also complete a written exam in class (must score 84%).
  • Course completion : American Heart Association BLS course completion card, valid for 2 years

BLS Certification

Students who successfully complete the BLS Course will receive a BLS Provider course completion eCard, valid for two years. Criteria for passing:

  • Actively participate in, practice and complete all learning stations
  • Complete the open-resource written exam with a minimum score of 84%
  • Pass the 1- and 2-Rescuer BLS With AED skill station for Adults / Infants

What is Advanced cardiac life support

ACLS features

  • Course completion: ACLS course completion e-card, valid for 2 years

ACLS Certification

Students who successfully complete the ACLS Course will receive ACLS Provider course completion eCard, valid for two years. Criteria for passing:

  • Actively participate in, practice and complete all learning stations
  • Complete the open-resource written exam with a minimum score of 84%
  • Pass ACLS case scenario skill stations as a team leader, providing appropriate medical treatment and demonstrating effective team dynamics

After booking for AHA BLS ACLS training at Miraj, you’ll need to prepare well to enhance your learning. A good theory knowledge will allow you to spend more time in learning practical skills at the skill lab. The course coordinator will issue the study manuals for BLS ACLS.
