About BLS-ACLS
The American heart association’s HeartCode Basic life support (BLS in short) Course reflects new science in the 2025 AHA Guidelines Update for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care. This video-based, blended course teaches skills for application in both in-facility and prehospital settings. AHA shows a topic on video and tests you on the app. You need to clear the exam before coming to the class.
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS in short). builds on the foundation of Basic Life Support (BLS). The hands-on instruction and simulated cases are designed to help enhance their skills in the recognition and intervention of cardiopulmonary arrest immediate post-cardiac arrest, acute arrhythmia, stroke, and acute coronary syndromes.

Eligibility
- BLS: Any healthcare staff (For others, AHA India recommends FIrstaid CPR AED course)
- ACLS: Allopathic Healthcare Staff
Pre-course Tasks
- Book a slot : Multiple schedules might be available on Medcourse website
- Collect online course material : Official preparation materials will be given once you pay in full.
- BLS online module : Complete the online part and come with completion certificate. It's not optional and you cannot join Skill session without it.
- ACLS Online module : ACLS Precourse self assessment and Precourse work should be completed. Collect certificate. You will not be allowed for hands-on portion without it.
Course Day Preparation
- Schedule : Choose a schedule for offline hands-on training and testing.
- Be on time : Multiple candidates might be scheduling on same day. So, it'll go on with or without you. Late entries will not be allowed.
- Get precourse certificates : Don't forget to bring proof of completion for the online preparation for both BLS and ACLS.

Just before your certificate is about to expire, contact an AHA authorized training institute near you or visit Medcourse India portal to find a schedule.
Additional Information
BLS is a prerequisite for taking ACLS or PALS. Book both together if you don't have AHA BLS already.
Fee terms : Fee is non-refundable. A transfer to next dates may be allowed as per training center discretion only.
